Antifreeze and technical fluid filling line: price

Antifreeze, coolant and washer fluid are filled volumetrically or by gravimetric doser into containers from 1 to 20 L. Key budget questions are material resistance, dose accuracy and explosion protection for alcohol-containing products.

For technical fluids, price is determined by gravimetric dose accuracy and safety requirements when working with glycol and flammable compositions.

How we calculate filling for technical fluids

  1. Step 1
    Break down the products

Antifreeze, coolant, washer fluid, brake fluid, oils. We determine material compatibility, fire class and ventilation requirements.

  2. Step 2
    Choose the dosing principle

Gravimetric filling by load cells or mass flow meter. We calculate how much product goes into overfill with a volumetric scheme and how quickly accuracy pays off.

  3. Step 3
    Build the container range

1 L bottles, 5 and 10 L canisters, drums and IBCs. Large containers usually go to a separate filling post with a weighing platform.

  4. Step 4
    Plan the tank farm

Raw material acceptance, concentrate mixing with water, density and freezing point control, buffer tanks before filling.

  5. Step 5
    Form estimate and safety

Equipment, piping, ventilation and bunds, hazardous goods marking, installation, commissioning and training.

Questions about antifreeze and technical fluid filling

Is explosion protection needed?

For isopropyl alcohol-based washer fluid — yes, up to room execution. For ethylene glycol antifreeze requirements are lighter. We determine this at the survey stage.

Gravimetric or volumetric doser?

For a wide container range and different recipe densities, gravimetric is more accurate. For one density and stable temperature, volumetric is enough and cheaper.

Can small containers and 20 L canisters run on one line?

Yes, usually as two lines with a common preparation unit. One universal machine for the full range reduces output.
