Water treatment for beverage production: price and composition

The cost of water treatment is determined by the raw water analysis and required capacity, not only by the RO membrane. Below are typical station configurations, budget structure and how we calculate the project.

  • water treatment for filling line price
  • reverse osmosis system for production for sale
  • water treatment for food production
  • water treatment station turnkey

The cost of water treatment is calculated from the analysis protocol and the required outlet quality. The same capacity in different regions can differ in budget by multiples.

How we select a water treatment scheme

  1. Step 1
    Analyze the raw water

Full chemical and microbiological protocol: hardness, iron, manganese, organics, total dissolved solids, seasonal variations.

  2. Step 2
    Set outlet requirements

Process water, drinking water, beverage water or boiler feed. Each application has its own set of treatment stages.

  3. Step 3
    Calculate flow balance

Peak and average flow, storage tank volume, RO concentrate share and where to discharge it.

  4. Step 4
    Evaluate cost of ownership

Membranes, cartridges, salt and chemicals, electricity, maintenance. Over five years consumables often exceed the unit cost.

  5. Step 5
    Form estimate and piping

Unit, tanks, pump groups, automation and SCADA, installation, commissioning, reaching design parameters.

Questions about production water treatment

Why can't you name a price without water analysis?

The same capacity from a high-iron well and from municipal water gives a different station composition. The analysis protocol is a mandatory input for the calculation.

Is a capacity reserve needed?

Yes, usually 20-30% above the line peak flow. Otherwise the station becomes a bottleneck when production ramps up.

How to calculate operating cost?

By reagent consumption, membrane and filter loading, electricity and concentrate volume. We provide these figures with the budget estimate.
