Juice Canning Line

The can is the format of choice for HoReCa, vending and export: fully light-proof, lightweight and quick to chill. The line is built around hot filling and a seamer.

About the solution

Juice is filled hot (85–92 °C) into the can, or after sterilization in an aseptic loop. After seaming, the can passes through an inverter to sanitize the lid, is cooled in a tunnel and moves on to packing.

For juices with pulp, a wide-channel filler is used; for clear juices, a standard gravity hot-fill valve. Double-seam control is mandatory: the inspection tools and procedure are included in the supply.

Line process flow

The juice can filling line is built around a rotary isobaric filling and seaming monoblock: cans arrive from the depalletizer, product is filled under counter-pressure with CO2 purge, then the can is double-seamed and moves on to packing.

Blending and UHT block

Product preparation

  • High-shear blending unit: sugar, concentrate and stabilizer disperse without clumping.
  • Tubular or plate heat exchanger, holding and cooling on a set curve.
  • Homogenizer up to 200 bar — a stable emulsion with no separation in the bottle.
  • Jacketed buffer tank maintains the filling-supply temperature.

Water treatment

Water for concentrate reconstitution and can rinsing.

  • The scheme is built from a feed-water analysis: mechanical filtration, carbon, softening, reverse osmosis

Depalletizing and can preparation

FAQ

Can a CSD line be used for juice?

Partially: the filler needs to be converted to hot-fill service and pasteurization plus cooling must be added. We design universal lines when both products are planned from the outset.

What matters most to control?

Double-seam parameters and fill temperature. These two factors determine shelf life and product safety.

How much does the Juice Canning Line cost?

Price on request: the budget depends on output, container type, line composition and the level of automation. After a short brief we send a preliminary estimate within 1–2 working days and a full quotation broken down by machine within 3–5 days.

What are the delivery and commissioning lead times?

Standard machines ship 8–12 weeks after the specification is confirmed, complete lines 12–20 weeks. Transport takes 2–6 weeks depending on the route; installation and commissioning on site take 2–4 weeks, with operator training included.
